Hi, I'm Bella! Right now, I'm studying computer science at Carnegie Mellon University with intention to concentrate in Algorithms and Complexity and minor in Game Design. I love solving problems and taking on challenging new projects in CS.
My current focus is on program analysis. I began research in Spring 2021 to explore mutation-guided fuzz testing in CMU's PASTA Lab with Dr. Rohan Padhye, published some preliminary results in the SRC at ICSE '22 and am currently continuing that work. Also, for the summers in 2020 and 2021, I worked with the Reference Design, Security Controls, and Architecture (REDSCAR) team at Salesforce to develop automated security bug catching in the form of tools now used across Salesforce. This past summer, I worked on automated test generation and bug catching at Apple, where I will be going to work full-time after I graduate.
My personal projects and hobbies include animation, game design, reading, writing, and programming effects and transitions for my anime music videos (AMVs).
I can be reached at ilaybour@andrew.cmu.edu.
